Title Tech Expo 1.0
“Once a new technology rolls over you, if you’re not part of the steamroller, you’re part of the road.” – Stewart Brand
We live in a time of revelation and innovation. The type of work we do is not changing as fast as the way we work. This is truer of the real estate industry than practically any other business sector. The way we handle our everyday business practices in the title insurance, real estate law and settlement industries will be drastically different 5 years from now. To stay on top of these trends it is imperative that we educate ourselves now or the transition will certainly not be a smooth one.
We as an industry have been hesitant to change our processes because “this is how it has been done for decades.” This motto worked for a very long time but will not fly anymore. If you choose not to educate yourself, it could affect your business. You don’t need to go out and take a coding class learning Python, Java or C++, leave that to the developers of these new technologies. What you need to do is get a basic understanding of the trends that will be shaping the future of real estate and the closing process.
I knew we needed something to help with the education of our industry on this ever-changing landscape. A day where we all could learn from innovators and subject matter experts as to how our industry will look years from now. A day where you could learn about a topic or process, walk out of the auditorium and meet a vendor who offers that product and can answer your questions. A day where we move forward, and gain a better understanding of the future of what we do. That day is coming. It is the culmination of a lot of hard work by a team of forward-thinking members of our industry. Our team has crafted a day which will give you a glimpse of the future and what “could be”.
We invite you to join us on May 18th, 2020 in NYC for TitleTech. A full day of panels and talks, continuing education series, exhibitors and networking. A day where we will discuss important topics such as Automation, Blockchain Technology, Cybersecurity, eClosings, Remote Online Notary, Artificial Intelligence and Data Privacy. Come join us for a special day that will give a glimpse of where we as an industry are heading.
