The New York title insurance regulatory framework—particularly the rules governing affiliated business relationships and disclosure obligations—imposes significant compliance responsibility on title insurance agents, underwriters, attorneys, real estate professionals, and affiliated businesses. Since the regulation became effective on October 18, 2017, under the authority of the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS), it has reshaped operational, disclosure, and fiduciary standards within the title insurance industry.

This course is necessary to ensure that industry professionals understand not only the letter of the regulation, but also its practical application in day-to-day transactions.

A professional continuing education program approved by the NY State DFS.

NYSLTA approval number NYPO - 102959

Upon completion of this webinar, licensed title agents may receive 1 CE "Insurance Law" credit; attorneys may receive 1 CLE "Areas of Professional Practice" credit.
