2025 Convention Optional Activities at Crystal Springs

When you are not attending a convention session, there are many ways to enjoy your free time at Crystal Springs.


THE WINE EDUCATOR

On Monday, September 8th you can attend the Wine Educator by purchasing an optional event ticket during registration. It is a 90-minute tour of the famous Crystal Springs Wine Cellar. You will partake in wine tasting and come away with a fundamental appreciation of wine’s enduring fascination. 

Space is limited so purchase this item during convention registration.

The tour meets at 3 PM on September 8th at the foot of the stairs in the exhibitor area.

The 1½ hour session includes: wine tasting, a guided tour of the Wine Spectator award-winning Wine Cellar, and Q&A with a sommelier to learn about grape varietals, wine regions, styles of wine and the basics of pairing wines with food.


GOLF AT BALLYOWEN

A special golf outing on Tuesday, September 9th has been arranged for the Ballyowen links course.  This optional event ticket purchase includes greens fee, a boxed lunch, golf prizes (see below), shuttle service to Ballyowen and back to the resort.

Golfers should park their clubs with the hotel front desk in the Bell Closet before going to the Tuesday morning session. Collect your boxed lunch upon arrival at Ballyowen.
The shuttle departs from the hotel at 12:15 PM. Shotgun start tee time is 1 PM.

*IMPORTANT - You may only form a foursome with attendees registered for golf. 

If you plan on renting clubs, please indicate whether you are left/right handed. Payment should be made directly with the golf club.
