NYSLTA 2025 Annual Meeting & Convention

The NYSLTA Convention and Annual Meeting

Sunday, september 7 - Wednesday, september 10

grand cascades lodge at crystal springs

All title insurance professionals are welcome.

Come spend the final weeks of Summer 2025 at Crystal Springs. The days will be warm, the night air will carry a chilly breeze. The hills and fields will prepare to start their technicolor turn to Autumn.

We welcome you to join us at The Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs.

The scene is relaxed, the barriers are lowered – the perfect mix of business & casual.

Speaking of casual, the dress code for our entire event is business casual; this includes the Officers Dinner Dance and Wall of Honor Ceremony on Monday night.

Set aside the daily office chores for a day or two and enjoy the company of the best title people in the World – the members of NYSLTA.

Here is a preview of what we have planned.

Sunday – Welcome Reception

You will arrive Sunday, September 7 to pick-up your convention registration and head to the Welcome Reception in the Grand Rotunda.  There will be food and drinks and entertainment from the Agents Political Action Committee.

Monday – General Session, Sabol Award luncheon, OFFICERS INSTALLATION AND THE 2025 Wall of Honored Members CEREMONY

The day begins with separate breakfast meetings for the members of the Title Section and the Agents Section.

The General Session commences with a full Executive Committee meeting and an expanded Advocacy Committee work session. The election of Officers for the 2025-2026 membership year will be conducted.

We have planned a special lunch to acknowledge and present the Sharon Sabol Award of Honorary Lifetime Membership to John J. Piccirillo.

Optional afternoon activities include The Wine Educator on Monday afternoon from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm (separate ticket required).

On Monday night, we will gather for food, drink and music in the Big Sky Pavilion.  The newly elected Officers will take the oath of office, followed by the 2025 Wall of Honored Members Ceremony.

Tuesday – CE/CLE, Free Afternoon, Charity Event

Tuesday begins with breakfast for attendees, speakers, spouses, guests and Plus 1’s.

Mary Thomas, Senior Vice-President and Chief Compliance & Regulatory Officer at Stewart Title Guaranty company will present the ALTA Report. This is followed by a CE/CLE on the impending FinCEN AML regulation.

Tuesday afternoon is the day golfers are handed a boxed lunch and shuttled to the fabled Ballyowen Golf Course. (Note - shotgun start at 1:00 pm - separate ticket required). The rest of us can dive into the Biosphere, hit the gym, enjoy the spa facilities or explore the other amenities of Crystal Springs.

Tuesday night we all head to the Emerald Ballroom for the Charity Auction.  This year's charity partner is the Northeast Bronx/Edenwald YMCA.

The funds will be dedicated to a program that educates teens on food, nutrition, healthy eating and meal preparation. The Teen Chefs program also conducts food distribution, as well as meals for students in after school and summer camp.

WEDNESDAY – TIME TO HIT THE ROAD

For all the time and effort that goes into planning and organizing the Convention, the greatest benefits for attendees are the connections and conversations that take place in the "between spaces" - in the Exhibitor area, at the bar and during the morning breaks. As you head back to your home town and catch-up on business developments, make a silent commitment to attend the 2026 Annual convention. There is nothing else like it.
